2020 Adetokunbo Bakare has played a vital part of NJ RoadRunners success this Spring. Entering the live period with several Division 1 offers, Bakare shares his focus heading into the live period and recruiting timeline.

Q: Describe yourself as a player to someone who has never seen you play.

A: I am very intense and am a good shooter. I like to share the ball and am able to find my other guys especially when the other guys come in on me. I make sure my team wins all the time.

Q: Explain your experience playing with the Road Runners in the venue and atmosphere of the convention center.

A: I didn't know what to expect especially since we haven't been able to practice in some time but winning gives me a good feeling especially at the convention center. Playing on the same court and playing in-front of all the college coaches helps me and my team especially because we are winning.

Q: What does your recruitment look like?

A: Right now I hold offers from NJIT, St. Bonaventure, Drexel, St. Peters, Coastal Carolina, Eastern Kentucky. Here I feel like after the live period I will narrow myself down so I will be able to commit.

Q: What else are you looking to get out of the live period?

A: I am looking to get a Championship. I feel like we are the best team here and just finish up with a decision on what college I am going to.

Q: What role / character do you play on your team?

A: I am mostly the funny guy but I am also the leader for the 2020s. We have some seniors to lead us but I make sure we compete as a team because I know what we can be and what we are going to be.
