Academic Elite Session 2
“Connecting high academic students with high academic institutions”
The Hoop Group Academic Elite Sessions give high academic students a chance to be seen by high academic colleges and universities.
Just like every Hoop Group Elite Session, exposure is a key ingredient to what we provide at Academic Elite Camp.
With our 3.0 minimum GPA requirement, college coaches from around the country know that they can come to Hoop Group Academic Elite to find a student that fits their needs on the court and in the classroom. Schools from the Ivy and Patriot leagues and hundreds of D2/D3’s come to evaluate and recruit at Academic Elite every year!
In the past 7 years the Ivy League Champion has had multiple Hoop Group Academic Elite Camp alumni on their roster! Ivy League Champions:

The difference between our two academic sessions, is based solely on the period that the camp takes place in. Our Academic Elite Session 1 (June 26-29) is during the NCAA Dead Period, so only D2/D3 Coaches are allowed to recruit during that time.
Our Academic Elite Session 2 (July 24-27) is during the NCAA Live Period, so every level of college basketball will be out recruiting that session.
Exposure has always been a key pillar of what we provide at Hoop Group Elite, but the reason camp is a must attend is because of the instruction that comes along with it. Our staff is made up of some of the best D2, D3, and high school coaches in the country. Our staff prides themselves on developing our campers into college players. Through skill development, film study, positional work, and guest lectures, our campers gain the tools to become successful student- athletes.
