Chicago Academic Elite had it’s high level prospects and Terrence Shannon Jr. was definitely one of them as he came out as MVP of the camp. The class of 2019 wing showed why schools like Louisville, Texas A&M, Maryland, Illinois, Florida State, Wake Forest and more have offered him. Shannon did a Q&A with HG Insider on his MVP performance and more.

Q: What was it like competing at Chicago Academic Elite camp?

A: “It was a nice event and I really liked how everyone played hard out there.”

Q: What was it like to come out as MVP at a competitive event like that?

A: “It was nice to come out as MVP. I did my best to compete and try to put my team in a position to win.”

Q: How would you say it prepared you for the live period?

A: “It got me prepared because I got to see the little things I still needed to fix, but overall I’ll be ready.”

Q: What type of mindset are you heading into the live period with?

A: “My mindset for the live period is to win everything and compete every time I step on the floor.”

Q: What goals do you have in mind for July?

A: “My goals for July is to win a tournament with my team and get better day by day.”
