Class of 2021 point guard Bensley Joseph has lived up to expectations here at Future All-American Camp. He has impacted his games in a variety of ways and is proving himself as one of the top players at his position. Joseph spoke to HG Insider on his FAA camp, his upcoming high school season and more.

Q: How would you describe your time at Hoop Group Future All-American camp thus far?

A: “It’s good, it’s a chance for me to prove myself and get my name out there. There’s good competition, I just want to play hard every game and win for my team.”

Q: You played up on 17u this season with Team New England. How was this experience for you?

A: “It was good, it was our first year so we struggled at times. We still have time to develop and I think I’ll do a lot better next year.”

Q: What schools are involved in your recruitment so far?

A: “Rutgers and Evansville have offered me so far. I’m not sure who has shown interest in me.”

Q: What are looking forward to most at Cushing Academy next year?

A: “I’m just trying to bring the Nepsac ‘AA’ championship home to Cushing Academy. I’m going to play hard for my school and just try and win every game.”

Q: How would you describe the way you play on the court?

A: “I would say I’m energetic, I’m not going to back down from any challenge. I like going against high level competition.”
