Class of 2021 guard Jalen Warley from Team Durant (DC) has taken his game to another level since the middle of the high school season at the Westtown School. Warley is playing with a great deal of confidence and becoming quite the playmaker. He recently added an offer from Temple and it looks like more schools are going to get involved. Warley spoke about the growth in his game and more.

Q: What was your favorite part about playing at hoop group events this spring?

A: “My favorite part is the competition and playing against teams from different circuits.”

Q: How would you describe the growth in your game recently?

A: “My game has grown a lot the past couple of months. I’ve added versatility and tools at my disposal.”

Q: What’s your focus on now as you prepare for the live period in July?

A: “I’m focusing on just improving the things I wasn’t confident in this spring and working to make them strengths.”

Q: You play for one of the best prep teams throughout the country in the Westtown School. What has that experience been like for you?

A: “It’s been a great experience that only a limited amount of players will have. It’s been fun and challenging every single practice and game.”

Q: What do you see as the next step for you as a player?

A: “My next step going into my junior year is focusing on how I can modify my game to translate to the college level in two years.”
