Quadry Adams is a class of 2020 guard from Edison, NJ attending St. Thomas Aquinas High School (formerly known as Bishop Ahr High School). Standing at 6’3” Adams is a long, versatile player. His explosiveness makes him an offensive threat and dangerous in transition. Adams sits down with HG Insider to discuss his mindset on and off the court heading into the Summer Division 1 Live Period.

Q1: How would you describe your game to someone who has never seen you play?
A: I’m very elusive. I can play 1-3. I am also a humble guy and I pride myself on playing defense.  I can do as much on the defensive end as I do on the offensive end. I just have that dog mentality whenever I play.

Q2: How do you feel about receiving a Wake Forest offer?
A: I am so ecstatic. It’s ridiculous. That’s a great program and I feel like that it could be a very good fit for me.

Q3: Does that change your plans heading into the summer?
A: I’m still a 100% open in terms of my recruitment definitely. At the end of the day I’m looking for the right fit. I’m not just looking at the name of the school but also at the quality of the game.

Q4: How does being an athlete help you in terms of being a student?
In my house you couldn’t do one without the other. If I didn’t study, I couldn’t play. If I did bad on the test I had to miss practice, and even a game to catch up on studying. If I want to play basketball I got to take care of school first.
