Aidan Carpenter is 6’5” shooting guard from Hamden, Connecticut. The class of 2020 guard from Lee Academy is a dynamic player who plays with power and pace. Carpenter proved his ability to score from all three levels this weekend. Heading into the summer, Aidan holds several Division 1 offers including NEC, Patriot and A10.

Q1: How would you describe your game and the type of player that you are?
A: I’m very shifty; I can play both on the ball and off the ball. I’m a scoring guard first, but I can pass and be a point guard on the floor as well.

Q2: What are your main goals for this summer in terms of improving your skills or recruitment wise?
A: I’m just trying to go play at the highest level possible, and every day I put in work for that.

Q3: Do you have anyone particular that you model your game after?
A: I don’t really mirror my game after anybody but I do watch a lot of Jason Williams and Gary Payton highlights.

Q4: How does being an athlete help you as student?
A: It translates. Being an athlete just pushes me more to be a student. If you can’t give a 100% in school then you can’t give a 100% on the court.
