Taylor Bol Bowen left Future All-American Camp with a lot of buzz surrounding him. The class of 2022 Mount Mansfield (VT) product showed a variety of skills and a lot of potential against some of the best competition that the northeast has to offer. He spoke to HG Insider about his game, his goals and more.

Q: How has this experience been for you at Future All-American Camp?

A: “Personally, it’s been a great experience because I’m from Vermont and there’s not a lot of these top guys out there. I’m sure most people here have never heard of me and coming out here doing my thing against top guys is great.”

Q: What do you think you bring to a team?

A: “I try to do whatever to help the team win. Sometimes when I need to shoot, I’ll shoot and if I need to get to the rim, I will get to the rim. If I need to lock up their main player, I’ll do that. I will do whatever the coach needs me to do.”

Q: What would you say the next step in your game is?

A: “The next step in my game is developing my handle and getting my shot even better. I just want to get bigger, faster and stronger.”

Q: What is something you would like people to know about you?

A: “I just want people to say I’m a hard worker. I’m not really on the scene yet so I want people to know I’ve been really putting in work.”

Q: What are some of the goals you have this upcoming high school season?

A: “This high school season I want to win Gatorade player of the year and all of the awards back home. I want to go out there and do my thing.”
