Q: How would you describe yourself as a player to someone who has never seen you play?
A: For anyone who has never seen me play,  I would describe myself as a versatile forward who can shoot the three ball as well as bruise you down low and is capable of guarding multiple positions on defense.
Q: What role / character do you play on your team?
A: This year I’m looking to be a leader for our team. We have a  fairly young group with a few returning key pieces and I think it’s important that I try and be the voice on the court to get everyone to rally and buy into what Coach Sina preaches. I also take a lot of pride in how hard I play and I try to instill that in our young players.
Q: What's the ultimate goal that you are looking to achieve?
A: My personal goal is to win a State Championship and eventually a TOC. Usually a lot of people count GSB out and I love that and use that as fuel to go and show everyone what we are capable of. Although we are young we have a lot of smart players and I believe we can win every game we play with what we got.
Q: What are we going to see different from you this year?
A: I really trimmed down from last year and I’ve become a much more mobile player. This has allowed me switch on ball screens and become a more versatile defender. I also have been working on my shooting off the dribble and have seen a big improvement there and feel more comfortable with the ball in my hands.
Q: You’re committed to Princeton. What was the main reason for choosing them?
A: I chose Princeton because I know it’s a place where I can grow as a person on the court and in the classroom. The academic aspect was a huge priority of mine. Coach Henderson also did a tremendous job recruiting me and really made me feel welcome there.
Q: Who’s the best player you have played against?
A:  I’d have to go with Greg Brown and Cade Cunningham I played them in AAU in the spring and they torched us. Best player I’ve played with would be Paul Mulcahy’s a complete floor general and great leader.
Q: What is something you would like people to know about you?
A: I’m a big Memphis Grizzlies fan. I’ve been ever since they got Zach Randolph. Their grit and grind mantra is something I think my game really embodies. A lot of people also ask me why I wear 54 and I don’t have an answer if anyone is wondering.
