Hoop Group Academic Elite Camp is THE camp for motivated student athletes to showcase their skills in front of the most prestigious academic schools in the country. Academic Elite mixes the classic elements of instruction, competition, and exposure with an unmatched academic aspect to help our campers "separate themselves" in the recruiting process. By bringing together the best academically oriented high school basketball players in the country with the strongest Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 academic/athletic college basketball programs, Hoop Group Academic Elite has an unmatched equation for success.
All campers must be recommended by both their guidance counselor and high school or AAU coach.
Our comprehensive basketball program complements our innovative academic "stations", programming developed by College Pursuit, the leader in helping college-bound students through the college selection and admission process. Together our program teaches each student athlete how to "separate" herself through basketball and academics.

2009 recap -
2009’s Academic Elite Girls included Head Coaches and Assistants from prestigious schools such as Colgate, Columbia, Bryant, UPenn and Hofstra, amongst others.
All levels were represented including Conferences like the Big East, Ivy and Patriot League schools as well as a host of other conferences. This year, we expect to have at least 50 college coaches to attend this event. Last year’s event included no less than 15 Division I players with a crop of solid Division II and III players.
