Camp Information

Cost: $200 per person

Ages: 6 - 18

Location: The Cherry Valley Region of the Pocono Mountains

Our Facility

    - 32 tree-lined acres in the scenic Pocono Mountains
    - 18 courts (outdoors and covered roof)
    - Cabins for 325 campers, Dining Facilities, Pool, Game Room, Canteen

Schedule

Friday
 
5:00 - 7:00 pm Registration/Check in for Weekend. All courts, the camp store canteen and game room are open! Be sure to get your parent/daughter photo taken on the Main Cts.
7:05 - 7:15 pm Brief introduction
7:15 - 8:30 pm Skill Development Stations. At these stations it is our goal to teach the parent how to teach their daughter the fundamentals of the game. In every station the parent is right there as the daughter goes through the station learning what to look for and how to make changes to a variety of his daughter's game. Topics that are covered are ball handling, rebounding, shooting, passing, defense, and individual offense.
8:45 pm 2 on 2 Demonstration. At this time our staff demonstrates the basics and details to playing a 2 man game. Using and defending a screen and roll and break down the beginning of motion offense.
9:00 - 9:45 pm 2 on 2 Games Parent and Daughter v Parent and Daughter 2 on 2 games which get the parents up and moving with their daughter. While competitive this instructional time allows the parents and daughters to play together. Parents doesn't matter if you are a weekend warrior or just out to have fun with your daughter there is a game for you.
10:00 pm Evening Session Ends Pizza Party.
11:00pm Lights Out!

8:00 am Wake-up
8:30 am Breakfast@ the Dining Hall
9:00 am Everyone to the Main Courts for stretch
9:15 - 10:30 am Skill Development Stations At these stations it is our goal to teach the parents how to teach his daughter the fundamentals of the game. 10:45 - 11:45 am Free Time All Courts/ Game Room/ Camp Store Canteen/ and Pool are Open
11:45 - 12:00 am 4 on 4 Demonstration @ the Main Courts. At this time our staff demonstrates the basics and details to playing a 4 man game. Using and defending a screen and roll, moving without the ball and break down the beginning of a motion offense.
12:00 - 12:45 pm 4 on 4 Games
1:00 pm Lunch in the Dining Hall
1:30 pm Everyone to the Gym for Lecture
2:30 - 3:30pm Free Time All Courts/ Game Room/ Swimming Pool, Canteen/ and Pool are Open
3:30-4:15pm Kids to the Gym for contests, Parent's to the Rec room for Discussion on the challenges of youth sports from a parents' perspectiv
4:15 pm PARENT/DAUGHTER BBQ!
6:45 pm Parent/Daughter two-ball contest.
7:15 pm Daughters v Daughters Games @ the Main Courts At this time the sons get to show off what they have learned all weekend at camp. Its time to showcase there new skills while the parents gear up because they are next.
8:00 pm Parents v Parents @ the Main Courts. Its the parent's turn to get on the court. We break into three different types of games novice, semi competitive, and competitive. So it doesn't matter what your ability is you can find a game for you.
11:00 pm Courts Closed for the night.

8:30 am Breakfast/Dining Hall
9:00-9:45am Everyone to the Main Courts for Skills Development Stations Recap and Individual workout demonstration. Our staff reviews all that we have learned this weekend and demonstrates how to put the daughters through an individual workout program.
9:45- 10:30am Shooting Games / Competitions Parents v Parentss, Daughters v Daughters, Parents and Daughters v Parents and Daughters
10:30 - 11:00 am Dismissal
