President's Day Weekend Showdown
Every President's Day Weekend, Hoop Group Headquarters plays host to some of the East Coast's best young talent in the Presidents Day Weekend Showdown. This Showdown is separated by two divisions, AAU and non AAU (travel, CYO, grammar). Some of the best AAU teams across the Northeast attend this highly anticipated event and many of the tri state area's best travel teams compete for bragging rights. In 2010, the 5th Annual President's Day Weekend Tournament played host to 32 of the Regions Top AAU Teams.
The President's Day Weekend Event is open to boys and girls teams from grades 3rd to 8th (U10 to U14). This event offers a great chance for travel teams to wrap up their season, it also marks the beginning of the season for many of the Northeast's top youth AAU programs.
Every Thanksgiving Holiday break, Hoop Group Headquarters hosts a highly competitive Holiday tournaments. This Tournament is open to travel, CYO, grammar school, and AAU teams. It draws some of the most competitive programs in the tri-state area. In 2009, 38 total teams spread throughout 6 divisions competed in the 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Showdown.
The Thanksgiving Turkey Showdownis open to boys and girls teams, grades 3rd to 8th. The tournament runs on Saturday and Sunday during the Thanksgiving Holiday break.
Hoop Group Headquarters ran it's 4th annual Holiday Tournament in 2009 with a line-up that featured 32 teams and a schedule that spanned 2 days, the 2009 Holiday Showdown was a huge success. This event is open to non-AAU teams (travel, CYO, grammar) who are interested in playing over their holiday break.
The Holiday Showdown is open to boys and girls teams in grades 3rd to 8th. This tournament will run the first weekend after Christmas. The holidays are a great time to be playing hoops in front of your family and friends and Hoop Group Headquarters is the premiere place to cacth your Holiday Hoop action.
