The Summer Classic East is an INVITATIONAL-ONLY event held during the NCAA Live Period, held July 18-19, 2012 at Competitive Edge Sports complex in King of Prussia, PA. The event has annually been one of the top events of the early July Live Period since it’s first year in 2004. This will be the first year that it is held at Competitive Edge Sports complex. It had been held at Hoop Group Headquarters the previous two years, but last year’s College Coach attendance was too much for that venue to handle as it was standing room only throughout the building.
- INVITATION-ONLY, only taking 32 17u teams & 16 16u teams
- Over 150 different Division I colleges were represented in 2010
- All under one roof, 5 air-conditioned hardwood courts
- All games officiated by referees provided by NEC Officiating Camp
